Is there a way to reply to a new comment or Confluence thread by email?

We really enjoy Confluence but the one thing we're missing (coming from Basecamp) is the ability to reply to a comment or Confluence page by email. Meaning I can just reply to that thread or Confluence page by replying via email instead of having to go the specific Confluence thread, then commenting or creating a reply.

This would make responses from our clients a lot easier to manage and less confusing for them.

As far as I know, this isn't possible for cloud.

For the server there would be an app for this
