Is there a way to redirect search output to a file?

I am attempting to identify files with the same name, but different extensions (for example Fred.doc and Fred.docx)  When performing a general search using CQL, the output is currently displayed on multiple search results pages.  With multiple pages of results, this task is not easily accomplished.  Is there any way to redirect the search results to a single WORD or text file?  

At the very least is there a way to sort the search results by file name?

you can specify to perform a search just for attachments
