Is there a way to order children in a different way than what is provided?

Is there a way to order the entries other than the 3 built-in methods in the macro?

(by created date, by modified date, or alphabetically by title).

I created a section in a document that needs to be between 2 other sections and indeed it is within the wiki page.  but in the Children Macro, because it was created later, it appears at the end. 

Modified date will not work for me because it will change the order of the children constantly.  I don't want that.

Are you talking about the Children Display Macro?

Have you tried the Page Tree Macro? You can then manually order them.
