Our team has a shared calendar in outlook. I want to import the calendar in Confluence so the team can view and modify it from Confluence. I tried exporting the Outlook calendar onto my local device and then importing the same in confluence. The import gets completed but the content of the calendar is not displayed instead a huge error message is displayed.
I found a plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1217554/outlook-calendars-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
Will this plugin fulfill my requirement.? Or is there any other way than buying a plugin?
Another option would be Team Calendars. The caveat with Team Calendars is that it doesn't directly edit your Outlook calendar. Instead you have to set up a program that syncs Team Calendars with Outlook on a scheduled basis. Looks like the other add-on may be able edit the calendar directly ... but I've never actually tried it.
Do you have any idea how importing a calendar (iCal file) will work? I am able to save the iCal file of the calendar that I want from Outlook.
