Is there a way to edit the contributors list?

I looked over the doc for the contributors macro (https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-contributors-summary-macro/) & don't see this, but is there a way to modify the content of the contributors list? Specifically, a space owner would like to omit deactivated accounts from showing as contributors.

Pinged Atlassian support about it. There's no such thing, but there is an open feature request: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-74340
