Is there a way to edit attachments in Confluence without opening in the Desktop Application?

We have some users that want to open up the attachment, edit it in Confluence, then save it without having to open the separate desktop application.

If you mainly work with excel attachments, I would like to recommend our Addon(Polaris spreadsheet for Confluence) that allows you to edit excel files on a confluence page without launching desktop applications.
