We have a private space that has access restrictions, is there a maximum number of users that can be added? If so, is the work around to create groups and manage access at a group level?
You are only limited by the number of accounts you can have in the cloud. (2,000, 5,000) depending on plan. Managing restrictions at the space level can be tedious since you have to set the permissions for each user each time. If they are being added to a group then it is one step to get them setup. Managing the group will require someone with administrator level to make changes so if you want the space admin to retain control then a group would not be the best solution.
Thanks, they are wanting the space admin to be the gate keeper so they will keep the current status quo for now. They thought some people dropped off when they were adding new people but I think that was probably user error. Thanks again!

I'm not aware of any documented limit. If there is a limit, it is sufficiently large that I doubt you will reach it. It would be better to use groups if you plan to add large amounts of people, though. The interface was intended for a smallish number of users or groups to be restricted, so I wouldn't expect the user experience to be great if you have a really long list of users.
Another option to consider is to move that page hierarchy in to its own space and manage it via Space Permissions

Hi, this was for a space, that has sites within it. They are currently managing access at the space level.
