Is it possible to modify the format of cards in Trello and/or Jira to allow for a specific layout?

In my workplace, we often use Trello to track tasks.  Within my Product Development team, we would like to utilize the card system of Trello or Jira; however, we are looking for a repeatable customized format to allow for separate teams to upload data, forms, etc. for a project.  Can Trello or Jira cards be modified to the point that they resemble Templates/Blueprints from Confluence?

@Kevin HuntsmanIf your process is used often, depends on a structured format and you have the expertise: use Jira for this problem.

You can solve this with Trello, BUT part of the solution will need to be conventions on how your Product Development team edits Trello cards.  So more freedom, and opportunity for human errors.

Marc.  Excellent.  Thank you very much for the response.  I suspected that Jira was the right approach, but I don't have the expertise in Jira per se.  When you say, "use Jira", does that mean that, with some effort, working within Jira, the card can be customized with a fair amount freedom or that I should "import" a Blueprint/Template from Confluence into Jira?

In principle, Jira can be customized.  But that requires expertise.  I can't judge if you or your team have this expertise (and I'm currently not a Jira wizard myself).
