Is there a possibility to make specified areas invisible for restricted members so that they don't know that the areas exist? Confluence 4.0

The best way for me was to go to the space and => Browse => Space Admin => Permissions.

There you can restrict the space and it won't appear in the Space Browser of people which are not allowed do enter the space.

Hi Martin,

do you mean hiding parts of a page ? If so, the visibility plugin might be, what you need: https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugins/net.customware.confluence.plugin.visibility

But this plugin is not suitable for hiding secure content. The whole content is indexed and can be seen in summaries and in the source view.

Best regards

Thomas

Have you looked at page restrictions? http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Page+Restrictions

You need to make a group that contains everyone but the restricted members...
