Is it possible to increase the input area size for template variables?

So I'm creating some templates and have been using the template variables as forms fields basically to walk users through their documents. However, I'd like to also be able to use area variables.

Is there a way to increase the size of the input field of these template variables?

Thank you for contacting us. I believe here you are using a text field, but multi-line text is what you are looking for. Here is an example of how that will look when adding it to a page:

And on the page when using the template:

How did you do this? When I click on the variables in edit mode I don't get options like that.
