Hi!

Is it possible to deactivate the comment-functions or override the responsible vm and vmd with an plugin?

In Permissions (Space or Global), you can make sure Add Comments and Remove Comments is not checked for the groups involved. You can turn it off for the confluence-users group (or Anonymous) if do not want anyone to comment.
