Is it possible to create a custom field in jira that pulls information from a custom ratio?

I am trying to create a new field on my jira issues that shows a custom ratio i created which shows that issues completion percentage.

You will need to create a script or automation that can calculate your new field from others.  What scripting or automations tools do you have available?  Automation in Jira?
