I need to be able to select some of the tasks created in multiple pages in Confluence.
These tasks identify "corrective actions" and have nothing else in common; might be assigned to different people have any expiration or creation date, be in pages that are in different spaces or hierarchy (i.e. meeting minutes of different type, different projects' spaces, etc.).
In a given page there might be both "corrective actions" tasks as well as other tasks.
Is there a way to "mark" these "corrective actions" tasks so to be able to group them in a task report page?
The report task macro allows to filter per "label" but in my understanding these are "page labels" therefore they do not work for my use case.
Hi, you could use this Strategy:
Could you clarify what you mean with "create a sleek global template"?

yes, instead of including tasks into the body text of a page you could create a task by using a subpage that is based on simple template, lets name it "ptask". This allows you to have lables applied to that task, actually any task that is created that way...
its another approch to not think about the task as an "inline" text element rather than a little instance of the ptaskt template.

OK, I understand.
Thanks for the suggestion, but this will not work for my use case because a lot of people create tasks in different pages and the big advantage is indeed that these are "inline" (better, in context).
Most of these people will not understand that they have to change page for creating the task.

@Rosario De Domenico I'm in same situation and wondering if Atlassian has any solution. Did you get any update so far?

No, I got no feedback or workaround or solution. :(

I'd love to see a resolution for this from Atlassian. Tasks that can be labelled would be very much more useful for using confluence as a collaboration platform.

I also need a solution here.
Thx

Same here. Labels for tasks would be tremendously helpful, dear folks at Atlassian!

An ugly workaround would be to create a fake user with the desired label as name. That way you can filter tasks that are assigned to that user/label. But I admit that this is pretty ugly.
Please Atlassian, reconsider adding labels to tasks

I agree this would greatly improve task management in Confluence. This suggestion can be voted here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-36419

Task Report has the capability to filter on Labels, however, there appears no capability to place a label on a Confluence Task.
