Do they have to set a password? Do they have to enter a PIN and verification code twice? Do they have to select the area in which they work? Is it at least possible to remove the area of responsibility?
Every time you sign up, you will be sent a verification code! Is there any way to turn this off?

Unfortunately Atlassian likes to collect personal data, and so you can't work around this.
You also can't "switch off" two factor authentication.
