Is confluence.atlassian.com related to a locally installed confluence?

GP June 26, 2014

Hi,

Yesterday there was a major outage of confluence.atlassian.com. Today my team is unable to log-in on our locally installed Confluence.

Is there any relation in between confluence.atlassian.com and a locally installed Confluence?

What can be the reason none of us can log-in on our local Confluence?

It shows up the error:

The following error(s) occurred:
Sorry, an error occurred trying to log you in. Please try again.

Thanks for answers in advance.

Not unless you have configured something.

A local Confluence does not look at any other remote systems. You can do some integration, but your local Confluence will never depend on the other end of any integration.

I think you'll need to read your logs to find out what's going on...
