I am trying to insert two tables next to each other, but the table instantly is added underneath the previous table. This happens when I add in photos as well. Does anyone know how to format tables and photos so that they can be next to each other rather than below?
Thanks for your help in advance!
Hi Kiana,
I'd suggest adding a section macro with 2 nested column macros each set to 50% width. Any content (tables, images, texts) that's in the column macros will be side-by-side.
Good luck!
Interesting! That is a pretty easy solution.

Thanks! And if you set the section Show Border property to true, then you get a simple dashed border. The nested tables solution lets you set a solid border, which some may find preferable.

Hi @Kiana Ziola,
Unless someone else can give better advice, I would suggest "2 tables within a table".
When I want an image to appear to the right of my text, I do this approach.
