Hey,
I used to make screenshot with the command win+shift+s then inserting the picture in a confluence page with strg+v. Suddenly it didnt work anymore in firefox.
I deactivated all the add-ons cleaned the cache but without success.
I checked this entry in firefox for true:
dom.events.asyncClipboard.clipboardItem Well turns out the snipping tool was somehow uninstalled from my laptop...
With installing it, everything is working fine.
Thanks for the help :)
Hi @Elias Mahla
Are you using Windows? Linux? Mac?
First, check if the screenshot is on the clipboard.
If it's there and Ctrl+V doesn't work, and if you are using Windows, restart in Safe Mode with Networking and check. might be another app causing this.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I´m using windows, i can paste the picture in onenote, copy it from there and then paste it into confluence :)
But not directly =/

Try the safe mode. I know for a fact some apps can do that.
Try it and let us know.

I thought i´ll give it a try and see if an of the add ons are causing the problem.
So i started with empty cache+no add-on, suddenly it was working. Then activated ad-block-plus, was not working again...
I tried to reproduce this behavior but without success ... so again empty cache+no add-on wasnt working
I´ll investigate..

I tried it in safe mode but no success.
Firefox offers me to run a clean version of firefox but no success as well.
In jira i can insert pictures but get an error "screen doesnt support to insert pictures".
Could be an windows setting. I´ll search ahead.
