Hi community,
I have used the Insert Excerpt macro to pull content from child pages into a master page, and while it appears correctly on the master page, the content is not visible when accessed via a public or external link.
How can this issue be resolved?
@Manjunath According to this page, https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/how-secure-are-public-links/:
What can public link visitors see and do?
Public links offer a way to share individual content items safely with anyone on the internet. This means that visitors to public links are limited in what they can see and do.
On public pages and live docs
Public pages and live docs are designed to be view-only. Visitors to public content can’t:
Edit the content
Leave comments
View comments
View the Confluence navigation
View the content tree and breadcrumbs
View most macros, including those that contain data outside of the shared content, and all third party macros
Public visitors can only view the following macros:
All other macros are not viewable in the view-only version of the content.
As long as the child pages are not public, the excerpts won't be visible via a public or external link.

@Manjunath Public links are self-contained, meaning they can't know that you are also making child pages available with public links.
If you have multiple pages you would like to make available to the public, you need to make the space available to anonymous users. You can either make sure the space only contains pages you want to be available to anyone, or you can set restrictions to each page you don't want to be visible.
