Insert a URL image in a page

I only have the option to insert a file or image from file explorer but not from web.

With the new editor this is not currently an option.

The workaround is to open the url in your browser to load the image, then right click and 'copy image', the paste direct onto the page. Which isn't ideal if you are relying on a dynamic image.

There are some comments in the link with other options though which may work for your use case.
