'Insecure Connection' refusal to connect to Confluence

Anthony Evans March 17, 2019

Hi

I am trying to connect to my Confluence URL from a Linux Mint laptop running both Firefox and Chrome.  With both (and for a long time now) I always get

Your connection is not secure

The owner of www.nonfunctionaltesting.atlassian.net has configured their web site improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this web site.

This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.

The details tell me...

www.nonfunctionaltesting.atlassian.net uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: *.atlassian.net, atlassian.net Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

I'm sure it's a pretty simple issue, but help would be appreciated!  I'd like to get on with building my Confluence pages :).

Thank you
