We're on 5.1 and I cannot get he html-include macro to work despite the docs saying it does. I've enabled it and I can use it to insert regular html but the -include piece will not work. I get an error saying Unknown Macro.
I am aware of the add-on that can be purchased but I was trying to use this supposed built-in functionality first.
Thanks,
J
Found the issue. The main doc page isn't explicit in explaining that there are the individual modules you have to enable for this after you enable the plugin.
Once I found that I was able to get them to work.
Hey J,
If the macro is giving you problems maybe its broken, and yes, the built in can break too. You may need to clear the plugins cache, just follow this doc here and it should be alright.
Hope it helps!

Nope that didn't fix it.
One thing I noted though, only the plugins-osgi-cache and plugins-temp had content. The others were already empty.
Thanks,
J

Additional info, the auto complete doesn't include the {html} or {html-include segments however if I put in the {html} tag it will automatically add a Wiki markup container to the page but then will not render the html. I just tried a simple bolding a string line and it wouldn't work.
When the page is displayed it says unknown macro {html}.
I have tried Disabling it and then Enabling it again as well but that had no impact.
Thanks,
J
