We have a custom field "Target Version" in Jira. When we add a JIRA link to the confluence, this field cannot display the correct text, but only a series of numbers, such as 11936.

Jenny,

I believe I have seen this issue in the past, and I suspect it may be the following bug, which is due for release in Jira 8.0:

  • JRASERVER-31977 xml view of custom field of multiversion picker type display version ID instead of version text

You can see it was reported on the Confluence side below, but is caused by Jira:

Jira 8.0 will be released in the coming months. I would recommend when it is available, perform the upgrade, and if you continue to have the problem, please let us know!

Regards,

Shannon
