I am using a task report for tracking my team's open & closed tasks. I accidentally marked as item as closed and it went to the closed task report. I then selected the checkbox to re-open the task and refreshed the page but it is still showing as complete. It should have been marked as incomplete and moved to the open task report.
If I go into the individual meeting minutes and uncheck the task, it works and updates the task report but I don't want to do this each time since I defeats the purpose of having the task report.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what do you do?
Hey Ashley, I think we stumbled upon a reported bug for the Task Report Macro.
If I understand it correctly, marking and un-marking tasks as complete in the Task Report Macro does not yield the correct results. Is that right?
This being the case, we could take a look here:
CONFCLOUD-58465 | Completing simple tasks or tasks from 'Task Report Macro' is unreliable
Granted, this bug related to Confluence Cloud. If you are in Confluence Server, the issue might be something else.
With this in mind, could clarify if we are talking about Cloud or Server ?
You can have an idea of what we are dealing with by looking at the sidebar. Here we have examples from both:

Thank you for your response. I am using Confluence Cloud and yes it seems to be the same bug.
I see the bug you linked was raised in 2017 though and it is still not resolved. Do you know when this will be fixed?
