I'm trying to add an image to a blog post and set it at one of the smaller size options, which works fine. But I'd also like to be able to have that image be clickable to open the full size image in some sort of preview window or new tab. Is this possible? I can't seem to get anything to work quite like that.
Hello Chris and welcome to the Community!
Writing blog posts within Confluence along with including images makes the content come alive. With this said, I tested blog post creation within Confluence Cloud and attached images, resized and confirmed I can click on the images and they open within a preview window (once the blog is published). Meaning, I am unable to recreate the issue you are having.
Let’s get some more information to further investigate.
Once we have some additional information we can attempt further re-create to see what's going on.

Stephen Sifers
Oh boy. I feel dumb now! I guess I wasn't seeing the preview overlay come up when I clicked on images while in "Preview" mode. But sure enough, images in a published post work as expected.
Maybe that image preview overlay should work on "preview" mode to give the same expected behavior? I was totally convinced it didn't work because of that.
