Imported pages are not displayed in the cloud

Andre Groschopp April 19, 2024

Hello,
I had set up a new cloud site with only Confluence. Now I wanted to import different spaces from my server version.
I have imported 3 different spaces into my cloud page. The first space is displayed correctly, but the other 2 do not appear in the overview. Does anyone have any tips for me?

Hello @Andre Groschopp ,

This can be a Permissions problem - when you export the spaces from Server Confluence, it is exported with the same users set in Permissions. Please check the presence of space in Administration menu.

Hello Andrii,
All users have been imported. I am also an organization administrator. Why shouldn't I be able to see the spaces?
Where in the administration menu can I see the spaces?

@Andre Groschopp ,

You can try the https://SOME_SITE.atlassian.net/wiki/admin/permissions/viewdefaultspacepermissions.action (Space Permissions) - it lists all the spaces present in the Confluence instance.

Also, you can check by the REST API endpoint https://SOME_SITE.atlassian.net/wiki/rest/api/space.

I would check if the space is physically present in the system and if yes, then try to check why you cannot see or open it.

I can see the two spaces under your first link. But I cannot manage any authorizations there.

I cannot see the two spaces under your second link.

It would be enough for me if I could simply delete the two spaces again. Then I can import all spaces via the Cloud Migration Assistant.

Okay, it's done. I upgraded to the 14-day trial version and then I was able to restore the rights for both areas. Now I can see them too.
Thanks anyway!
