Imbedding a PDF or Word Doc doesn't work

I'm using the macro for embedding PDF's and Word docs and the macros don't work. I've attached the dialog box that pops up when you select the macro. It doesn't matter what page name I put in, the file name doesn't change from no attachments and there's no place to upload a file. I want to embed either a pdf or a Word doc.

The PDF macro displays the content of a PDF document on a page. You need to first attach the document to a page, then use the macro to display the document.  Here is some helpful documentation about the macro.  https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-pdf-macro/
