Images In Excerpts No Longer Able To Left Align

Previously in excerpts you used to be able to align images. In this case in my template I had thumbnail images left aligned but, now when I now go to insert it auto center aligns and I can't alter it outside of shrinking the image size or increase it til it fills the left of the page. See attached image



I've also tried inserting a table to fix this by just plopping the image into a left column but it will not allow me insert one.

If anyone has an solutions I'd love to know.

@Jenna Brown I am afraid to say you can't change the image alignment neither you can add a table inside an excerpt include macro. You can raise a feature request for this though. Alternatively, you can add a three section Layouts and then add an excerpt include macro to the left for left align, center for center align, and right for right align. While it is not the best solution out there but it can be used as a workaround:
