I need help to insert icons in a confluence tabel.
Shortcuts (/) and (x)are no loger working. What was changing that I can't use them anymore?
Sorry - what has changed that I can't use them.
@Robert Schwab Welcome to the Atlassian community.
When you say icons, do you mean emojis? If so, refer to this page for information and instructions (including how to upload your own emoji): https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/use-symbols-emojis-and-special-characters/ (there is nothing different about inserting an emoji in a table cell than in any other paragraph)
If you want to insert an image that you have a file for, this also is the same as adding an image anywhere on the page, as described in this page: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/display-files-and-images/
If you are trying to do something else, please provide additional information.

(/) = (green panel) - that kind of shortcut doesn't work any more

Thank you for clarifying this. I see this action on the Markdown tab of the Keyboard shortcuts popup (press Shift + ?). Since this is still shown in this popup, I'm not sure why it doesn't work for you.
I just tried it in one of my pages, and it worked, except that the checkmark is in a green circle instead of a square. 😕
I can't find anything about how to turn off the editor shortcuts (only the General ones), but maybe they have been turned off for you somehow. Do any of the other shortcuts work for you?
Otherwise, have you tried another browser, incognito mode, clearing cache, turning off browser extensions? See https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-knowledge-base/kb/browser-troubleshooting-guide/
