Icon of JIRA-issue reference in Confluence broken

In Confluence, when we reference a JIRA-issue in a page, the JIRA-icon that goes with it tries to get its image (/images/icons/issuetypes/story.png) from localhost:8080, which obviously does not work in the end result.

 

Any ideas where this configuration is done?

 

Our installation is Confluence (5.8.4) with its user management delegated to JIRA (6.3.1). Both are installed on our own servers.

 

Btw, Server base URL it is not: that points to the correct external URL.

Nevertheless, ensure that the application link refers the correctly JIRA server base URL.

Hi Guilherme,

Thanks for your answer.

We have found that the answer lies indeed in the Application Links.

In our configuration both JIRA and Confluence run on the same physical machine. And so the application links between them initially done with a 'localhost' reference worked fine. Except for the links to the icons, apparently, and who knows what else we have not discovered yet.

It seems now to be only a matter of setting the firewall rules right so that we can make the Application Links between JIRA and Confluence with their external URL's (aka base URL's).
