I want to export all questions from our ondemand atlassian wiki so we can curate, archive or delete and replace

Have a look at the "backups" section in admin - it exports everything to an xml file you can load into another Confluence.

I'm not sure that dumping a copy out is that much use for curating and deleting though - you're still going to need to do that in the existing system.
