I often receive client files via email or sftp that I am not supposed to save on my local computer. I have been instructed to save these in each client's specific confluence file space instead.  How can I navigate to and save to confluence using the save as function on each document?   Most important part of this - I do not want to save this document anywhere prior to saving to confluence - no extra steps please as we are working for efficiency.

The ones in your email will first need to be saved to your local machine or a location accessible to you such as a network share. There is no way around that. You cannot go straight from an email attachment into Confluence.

As for the ones that are SFTP'd if you are able to open of the SFTP location in Windows Explorer or Finder if you are on a Mac you can simply drag them and drop them onto a Confluence page and they will upload.

Thank you Davin - that is a great tip for the SFTP.  I am really disappointed about the email one though :(  Hopefully confluence finds a way to accommodate that soon.
