I'm using the Excel macro. How do I delete the "Edit Document" notation above the referrenced table?

I've had success with the Excel macro and can reference a spreadsheet tab successfully. However, I don't want users to edit the table. How do I get rid of the "Edit Document" link above the referenced table?

Hello there Donna, thanks for passing by! You can surely make that happen.

By setting a page restriction users can be denied the rights to edit attachments:

  1. Go to the affected page
  2. Click the padlock by the top bar
  3. Select Editing Restricted
  4. Select who should be able to edit this page
  5. Set the restriction

Users or groups that are not specified in the restriction list will be unable to edit the attachment. However, this also removes their ability to edit this specific page.

Let us hear from you!
