I'm on Confluence 6.11, and can't find the option to import space

Thorbjørn Sigberg November 15, 2018

I'm looking to import an individual space to Confluence, but am unable to figure out how. All documentation seems to refer to older versions / non-existant menu items.

I have exported a space from another confluence as XML, and want to import it to Confluence 6.11. I'm a confluence admin. The documentation I find refers to going to Settings and "Import space" in the confluence side page, but this menu item doesn't exist.

It should be under: settings > backup and restore -> feed it the name of your xml.

Thank you, this appeared to be only for full restores, but reading it more closely I saw that it was actually for spaces as well. And it worked! Thank you!

No problem.  It is well buried, and not easy to find in my opinion!
