A current editor changed the restrictions to give me editor access to one of the pages but i still cannot edit. How can i get editor access to the whole of MPTT confluence?
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Page restrictions are set on parent pages and inherited by their children.
If you want editor access to an entire space or site (all spaces), then the space permissions for each space will need to be set accordingly by the current Space Administrators or Confluence Administrators.
Please note that even if you would have "editor" access to all spaces, it can still be restricted for specific pages.
Hi Dave,
I have been added to the parent page by selecting restrictions, and I show up as can edit.
However, in the top right of my screen, my colleagues have a edit button and this has not shown for me. How do I edit the page?

You would need the add pages space permission.
If the add pages permission is granted to the user or group, they can create pages in your space. They can also edit any pages in your space, except when restricted from doing so on individual pages
