I have followed all steps in docs -- but keep getting timeout error.

Please help! IP checking was switched off, ip whitelisted, all steps followed to the letter but I keep getting this error:

'Error rendering macro 'tableau-plugin' : com.atlassian.renderer.v2.macro.MacroException: unexpected error: please contact your confluence or tableau server administrator: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out'

Please help as soon as possible - Thanks!

That error means that the Confluence server cannot reach the other server.  Either the tableau server is not running, it's not accepting connections, or most likely, it's firewalled off.  I'm afraid you'll need to debug your network connectivity to fix this one.
