The excel cannot be modified on the page after upgrade from the recent confluence 5 version to confluence 6.11.2 version.

IE, chrome are also the same phenomenon.

Hi @최영철,

Atlassian has removed the Edit in Office option from documents embedded using the native Attachments/View file macro. This change is effective from confluence 6.11 version. If you now want to have the edit feature we need to install an add-on "Atlassian Companion app" to edit the document.

Once the Companion app is installed and running, you can start editing.

To edit a file in Confluence:

1. Go to the page containing the attached file.
2. Click the file to open it in the preview mode.
3. Click Edit with.
4. Select the application in which you want to edit your file.
5. Make your changes and then save your file in the desktop application.
6. In Confluence, click Upload to confirm you want to save the edited file as a new version.
