I have created months ago a blog page and I frequeltnly modify it (last time 11th of june) using the "modify" link/button.
https://wikidhatim.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/UDT/blog/2019/09/10/1335721997/Points%2Bd%2Battention
Today, I don't have anymore this link/button on the page (top right of the page).
What is the reason and how can I have it back ?
Thx
Hello @Eric Dumenil ! As I understand, the “Edit” button is not present in a blog post that you created and frequently applied changes to. Just to make sure we are talking about the same button, here is a screenshot of the one I am referring to:
Since you posted this question on Monday, June 22nd I would like to understand if the issue is still present.
If it is, there are some things that we could try:
- Access the same blog post using another browser
- Check if your account is authenticated
- Check if your account is authenticated and is the correct one
- Check if the edit button is present in another blog posts or pages
- Check if there are no new restrictions applied to the blog post itself.
Let us hear from you!
Hello Diego,
thx for your answer.
I still have the problem and ideed, this edit button isn't still there anymore.
Moreover, I have other pages (not "blog" pages) but usual confluence pages where this button is here and I can modify the pages.
My login iscorrect and is correctly authenticated.
I'm using chrome, have tested in private connexion and with Edge, with the same problem always.
This is very strange...
(I know there was a new confluence version last week, and we had uers having some problems accessing to this blog page during some hours. Don't know if this is related)
How can I check your point 5. about new restrictions ?
Thank you for your help!
Eric

Hey there, thanks for keeping the thread alive @Eric Dumenil . Here is our documentation on restrictions:
Please, keep in mind that if your instance is under a Free Plan, restrictions are not customizable. You can read more about the free plan here:
I believe that this behavior is connected to the restrictions of this specific blog post due to the following:
- Other users are also unable to see the edit button
- No other change was applied to the page
- Other pages still have the edit button
