I am the author of a page but I'm not able to edit restrictions

Do I need to have admin access to be able to edit restrictions at page level?

My understanding is that if i am the author of a given page I should be able to do any action

Hi @chandini kalra 

Authors of pages don't automatically have the ability to restrict pages. It depends on your space permissions.

As you can see in the image above, there is a seperate permission for Restrictions. If you are unable to restrict the page, it's likely that you are lacking the permission to add restrictions.
