Hello @CHUNHUI

Your Name can be a blocker, as Atlassian allowing Hyphens, but if they are in the middle and not beginning of Name.

Take a look for reference here https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/update-a-product-url/

Best,

Arek 🤠

Hi @CHUNHUI ,

This message typically means the site/workspace provisioning failed on Atlassian’s side, not that your workspace name is invalid. 😊

You can try the below ways:

  1. Retry in an Incognito/Private window (or clear cookies) and try again. -> This works for me the most
  2. Try a different network/browser and disable extensions (ad blockers/privacy tools can interfere).

  3. Use a different workspace URL (sometimes the suggested one conflicts in the backend even if it looks available).

If it still fails, the fastest path is to contact Atlassian Support and include the Anonymous ID shown in the error (that ID helps them find the backend failure quickly).

I hope everything works out well for you.

Best regards,

Peter

Hi @CHUNHUI ,

Just to add on what Peter and Arek said... (and if you didn't resolve this already)

If you're trying to start a new site from https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence there are some backend issues you can stumble upon if you use this method to try tocreate a new site.

Anyway, I'll quote myself 😅 here as I recently answered this on another question:

Can you maybe try the following way to add new Jira app/site: Add a new Atlassian app or collection to your organization 👈
If you don't have an organization where you'd like to add this new Jira, you could create one by following this: Create an Atlassian organization (check the part "Create an organization without apps")

Alternatively, if you need to contact support, you can use the following channel: Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing & Licensing > select Product Trials > Trial a new product and click on Need more help? at the bottom corner to get to a form that you can submit.
Here, you can explain the issue you're having and share the error trace ID you're seeing.

This worked for another user who was experiencing the same thing, just with Jira.

Cheers,
Tobi
