I accidently deleted a confluence page with children but not able to see it in trash for that space
Hi @Saikat Kuila ,
The first thing to verify is whether you are a space admin for the space where the page was deleted. Only a space admin can open Space settings → Content → Trash and restore deleted content.
If only the published parent page was deleted, its child pages were not deleted. Confluence moves them to the nearest surviving parent in the content tree, so search for the title of one of the child pages to confirm where they are now.
If the parent is not in Trash, also check Content → Archived. An unpublished draft does not go to Trash when deleted, and that deletion is permanent. A published page will normally remain in Trash until a space admin manually purges it.
If a space admin confirms that the page was published, has not been purged, and is still absent from the original space’s Trash, Atlassian Support will need to investigate. Include the page title or previous URL, the space key, the approximate deletion time, and the account that deleted it. When restored, the page returns to the root of the space and loses its inherited permissions, so it will need to be moved back and its restrictions reviewed.
See Delete, restore, or purge a content item and Archive content items.
Yes I am not a an admin, thanks for the info.
