How to upgrade Confluence DB from Oracle 11 to Oracle 12

Hi,

we need upgrade Confluence 5.1.2 to Confluence 6.x. Our old Confluence use Oracle 11, so we also need upgrade DB from Oracle 11 to Oracle 12.

What is the best way?

Copy/upgrade data from Oracle 11 to Oracle 12 and switch DB connection in Confluence and after that upgrade Confluence by standard way?

Or upgrade DB data through Confluence by XML export?

Well... in smaller instances of Confluence would be better way throught backup-restore...
