We use confluence holding different versions of our specification.
When links in the documents are set, they point to the version which was the actual one when it was set, but it dosn't point to the newest official version.
How can we solve this issue?

It's not clear on what you are trying to do here. How are you managing these versions exactly in Confluence? Are you using a 3rd party add-on?
If you can show us a bit more about how you are doing this then we will be able to advise you on a solution.
