How to save pages ID while importing space, exported from other server?

When we imported space from XML, exported from other server, all pages ID changed. But there were pages ID in XML content. Why did IDs change?

We sent links to our users, and now they don't have access to those pages.

Is there any way to save pages ID?

No, the page id's cannot be preserved.  Confluence uses the next free one for each new page, whether created in the system or imported, to avoid clashes with existing pages.
