How to resetthe admin username and password

I was unable to login to atlassian instance after restoring from another instance and I followed steps from https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/unable-to-log-in-to-confluence-715261580.html

I am able to login with admin username but unable to change the user name or password now. How do I change the admin user name and password. I am using a confluence Datacenter version and there is no LDAP configured. No other users were created and I do not see an option for creating a new user.

The above KB article if followed will insert all the necessary data into the database to allow you to login using admin admin if you are using an older version of Confluence.  If you version of Confluence is Greater than 6.5.0 you will need to use this to recover the password.
