Have you tried using a table. Create a table with 3 columns and one row, and place content in each cell. The only down-side is I don't think you can switch off the border display.
You can also use the Layouts button (looks like a large pause button next to the table button at the top of the screen. This gives you a few pre-set layout designs, essentially different sized columns. This comes without borders. :-)
How do you want to dynamically create navigation? Are you talking about some sort of page tree? There is a built-in macro called Page Tree that has limited capabilities for this.

yeah thanks, this Layout-thing is very good and quite what I need. But the problem is - how to make it like an frame around the content inside, because if I make an API documentation with many pages, it would be quite anoying to copy-paste on every change the layout navigation on every page.

I'd imagine you need to create a new Template, but I think you need Admin rights for that. You could then use your new Template each time you create a new page. I've not played with Templates, and I'm not an Admin.
