How to make Epic Link and Parent Link mandatory not by Validator script but by red star?

Hello!

I need to create Epic Link and Parent Link fields to be mandatory fields not by validator script but by adding to Required (*).

Because we want to create issues from Confluence and if the filed is not required in Jira (required by script) Confluence won't give us option to insert the value and the connection is impossible.

Hi Ahha,

Unfortunately, this is not possible since confluence does not allow you to select other fields when creating tickets. You can only put a description and issue type.

You will have to review 3rd part plugins.
