How to insert children pages list and their children in the TOC of the root page?

I have the folowing structure:

Root
        Child1
        Child2
        Child3
                 Subchild1
                 Subchild2
                               Header1
                                      Header2

 

How can I use the toc macro on the root page to display the above structure (or any other buildin macro)?

Hi Miles,

you can do it like that:

  • do not use the toc macro, but the children macro
  • edit the children macro, set the depth of descendants to 4
  • Set Excerpt Display to "Rich Content"
  • Add your pages
  • Add an excerpt macro to page "Subchild2"
  • add toc-macro into the excerpt body
  • Add your headers to the page Subchild2 and save it

Now, if you look at your top page, it should look like that:
