How to handle Cron Jobs expression in Atlassian Jira? Is there any predefined classes or API exist ?

Hi Atlassian Team,

    I would like to schedule a job using cron jobs expression in my code base, Could you guys please provide me, If is there any predefined class or API existing in atlassian jira code bases  other than 'PluginScheduler Class'. Cron job , i would like to run and execute in jira data center.I don't want to use quartz cron jobs in data center. I want to use Jira data center code base cron job. So Could you please help me out. How to use write and use cron job in data center.
