How to get user information for the issue collector?

Hello!

I want to create a Button for our Usere. With the button they could send us tickets with their hardware and software problems.

In the past i created a issue collector in JIRA and copied the code into my html code.

At this moment the user have to type his name and mail adress manually, but i want that the user name and mail adress is filled automatically.

Do you have a guide or advices, how to solve my Problem?

Where are you pulling the name/email info from to pre-populate?

Using Javascript you can populate fields in your collector automatically or even in hidden fields, but how does the form know who is who in your scenario?
