How to find the location of all pages using the Include Page macro to a source page?

Richard Wiltshire December 10, 2018

I was going to delete a source page and was alerted that 6 other pages were using it (via Include Page macro) -I only knew of one dependent page, but could not work out where the other 5 dependent pages were located - how do I get this information?

Thanks

Hi @Richard Wiltshire,

Any page which you include as part of the Include Page macro will show up under the outgoing link inside the page information.

Outgoing links: A summary of the links contained on this page, pointing to other pages on the Confluence site or to external websites.

To see the information about the page:

  1. View the page.
  2. Choose .... > Page Information

Please see the page View Page Information for reference.

Hi @[deleted] - appreciate your quick reply - I now see the problem - the ... > Page Information Option is not available in our drop down list.

The View Page Information simply isn't in the list.. (see below) maybe its a setting that needs to be activated?

@[deleted] thanks again as it helped me find a workaround...

  1. … > Page History

  2. In Page History – click on Return to Page Information

  3. Page Information now appears!
Incoming Outgoing links can be seen

@[deleted] - final note - our Admin guy sorted the Page Information in the ... dropdown - it now appears.

Cheers
